First Contact
Jackson Sttauder's relationship with electronic music began before it became a profession. In Brazil, at a moment when the underground circuit was rebuilding itself outside the commercial club economy, his formation happened through listening rather than performing: imported records passed between friends, recorded radio broadcasts, long nights spent decoding how a track is constructed rather than how it is consumed. That period established the working method he still applies — study first, release later.

The DJ, Then the Producer
The transition from listener to DJ was gradual and deliberate. Sttauder built his early sets around continuity, tension and restraint, treating a performance as a single extended piece rather than a sequence of records. Production followed as a natural extension of that discipline: the studio became the place to resolve the ideas the floor had already tested. From that point, DJing and producing stopped being separate activities and became two readings of the same body of work.

A Defined Language: Techno and Tech House
His identity settled around Techno and Tech House — not as genre labels, but as a set of working constraints. Percussive precision, controlled harmonic detail, a low end designed for large rooms and an arrangement logic that rewards patience. The result is music that functions in a club without depending on effect: it develops, it holds, and it leaves space for the DJ playing it to make a decision.

The Brazilian Underground
Sttauder's practice is inseparable from the Brazilian underground scene that formed it. He worked inside its parties, its collectives and its production culture at a time when visibility was scarce and consistency was the only currency. That environment shaped a professional posture that remains central to the project: supporting the circuit he came from, programming with intention, and treating the local scene as a serious cultural context rather than a stepping stone.

Performance and Curation
Across appearances in clubs, festivals and independent events, his selection has remained recognisable: long-form construction, dynamic control and a preference for records that carry weight rather than novelty. The same criteria govern his curatorial work. Choosing what enters a line-up, a broadcast or a catalogue is, in his practice, an editorial act — a statement about what deserves to be documented.

Illumitech
Illumitech was created as a platform to give the underground the standard of presentation it rarely receives: careful curation, sustained editorial work and a long-term view of artist development. It operates less like a promotional outlet and more like a publishing house — releases, projects and collaborations selected for the record they leave behind. Through Illumitech, Sttauder extended his role from artist to cultural agent within the scene.

Catalogue and Circulation
His music has been issued through Brazilian and international labels and has circulated through specialised platforms, radio programming and DJ sets across different territories. That circulation — tracks played by other artists, broadcast in shows, archived on streaming services — forms an independent record of the work's reach, documented throughout this archive rather than claimed in summary.

Authority and Documentation
Independent press coverage, editorial projects and a consistent digital presence have built a public account of the trajectory. This website consolidates that account: releases, broadcasts, performances, curatorial initiatives and media coverage, each held as a dated entry. Authority, in this project, is a consequence of documentation.
Chapter IX§
Working Position
The current phase continues along the same axis: studio work, curation through Illumitech, selected performances and the steady expansion of the archive. The artistic position is unchanged — consistency over volume, authenticity over adaptation, and a career measured in decades rather than seasons.
